Music Mornings:
For Kids 6-12
A Morning Music/Arts Mini Camp

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 9:00-12:30 AM
July 8-12 and July 15-19
$150 per week or $250 for two weeks.
For kids who love to sing and want to learn to play an instrument.

Every morning will include group singing and singing games, and small group music lessons on ukulele, recorder, keyboard and Orff instruments.
Additionally, we will offer crafts such as collage, jewelry making and book making, origami, beginning photography and group activities such as badminton, frisbee, crocquet, hula hooping and bubbles. We will share a midmorning snack and have lunch together at noon.

Once a week families will be included in an evening singalong.
The Music Room is air-conditioned and has a shady lawn where we can work and play outside at a picnic table.
Space is limited so please register and sign up early.

Nancy Chusid is an experienced musician, artist, illustrator and teacher. She is the director/conductor of the singing groups Astral Alert, MY MOON! and Byrdsong. She was artistic director of the Byrdcliffe Summer Arts Camp for Kids for 3 years. She believes summer is a time to learn something new and make new friends.

Working with Masters

This summer Nancy is directing a vocal music one week intensive camp for kids at the Emerson Hotel and Spa on Route 28 as part of the Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice, called Working with Masters. This program is for children 8-12 who love to sing and learn great songs and want to have fun making music together.
