Sonia's Ukelele class for kids

8 Fridays: April 9th, 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21, 28

As a part of Sonia's senior project, she is creating a concert featuring the Ukelele, an instrument that she loves and that
she has been playing for a while. She is looking for some musical children-age 7 and up who want to have fun learning to play ukelele. In this 8 session class (which will be co taught and supervised by her mother who hopes to learn to play ukelele along with the kids) Sonia plans on teaching the children basic chords and songs that they can sing along to.

The final part of this project will be a concert benefit for the Killian Mansfield Foundation, which is a foundation created by a young ukelele player to empower children with cancer and other serious illnesses through integrative health care dedicated to treating the whole child--mind, body and spirit.

Class size is limited. Please register in advance.
This group will also play at our Spring Concert at the Kleinert-James June 6.
